This is a common way of dealing with the problem. Unfortunatelly good only to a point as images set as background appear always in original size while those in an img element can be resized.

Hi!

Now I've created a plugin. It's work in progress so take it for what it is. There is a demo page here: http://www.smoothdivscroll.com/roundedimagecorners/

There's no real documentation and no download link, but you can look at how I've used the plugin and download it if you view the source. In this plugin I've added a feature which allows you to use the alt-tag as an image caption if you want to. Fully configurable using options and/or CSS.

Enjoy!

Take back what i have said above, the script has to be in $(windows).load so that it only calls the script after everthing is loaded and we will get correct width and height for our images.

I really like the idea of this and have been trying to implement it on a site of mine. However, I cannot seem to get it working with Joomla.

For some reason it's not switching my image into a div like it should be.
