No cool facts to back up my theory but I feel that a lot of web designers, especially those who don’t do any actual coding, don’t care that much about accessibility. Or they think it’s up to the programmer and/or tester. Sooo wrong! As a designer you are just as responsible.
I’ve been using Coda as my main web development tool the last few months and I must say that it’s a great development tool that makes me work more efficient. It’s easy to use, you can easily search through all files in a big project and you can publish all your changes to the server with just a click or two. When I need to debug server-side code I just swap to Komodo.
The other day I received a phone call from my mum. She was trying to help my aunt to set up an account on Gmail. My mum knows a little something about the internet and how things work so I was pretty sure they would figure it all out by themselves. Turns out they didn’t. After trying for hours (no joking..) I got this desperate call from my mum in which she claimed that “they” (I guess she meant the google-people) was erasing her password and every time she tried to do it again they made it harder.
